|Ray’s Gourmet Country, brought to Fulshear by Fort Bend businessman Raed “Ray” Salti, opened its doors on May 6, 2008. Ray’s concept was to create a unique neighborhood bar and grill, that serves recipes created from the highest quality of seasonal and organic inspired ingredients from local farmers and ranchers.|
To bring his concept to life, Ray teamed with Executive Chef, Soren Pedersen and Shawn Gottschalk and Russell Hruska of Intexure Architects, to develop an atmosphere that finds inspiration in the simple beauty of agrarian life in the City of Fulshear, while complementing the fresh organically inspired cuisine.
The kitchen is open to the dining experience, emphasizing the direct connection from Chef Soren’s “field to table” menu featuring ever changing creations dictated by seasonal availability of organic fruits and vegetables, certified natural meats and fresh seafood . Both the food and architecture celebrate the blending of simple honest ingredients and materials for a refined sense of style and taste.
